- The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
- I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me and I lay down my life for the sheep.
- He chose David his servant and took him from the sheepfolds; from following the nursing ewes he brought him to shepherd Jacob his people, Israel his inheritance. With upright heart he shepherded them and guided them with his skillful hand.
- He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
- We your people, the sheep of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; from generation to generation we will recount your praise.
- He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his names sake.
- Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph!
- Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.
- My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
- You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
- I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.
- Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
- For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
All: Almighty God, merciful Father, since You have wakened from death the great shepherd of Your sheep, grant us Your Holy Spirit that when we hear the voice of our Shepherd we may know Him who calls us each by name and follow where he leads; through the same Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
